From the Dunes of Merzouga to the World
Best of Sahara was founded by Hussain, a Berber guide born and raised in Merzouga — the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Growing up in the Sahara, Hussain spent his childhood learning the desert's rhythms, the names of every dune, and the stories of the nomadic families who have called this landscape home for centuries.
After years guiding travellers through Morocco's most remote and beautiful corners, Hussain founded Best of Sahara with a simple mission: to offer private, personalised tours that go beyond the tourist trail. Every itinerary is crafted by hand, every camp is carefully chosen, and every guest is treated like family.
Today, Best of Sahara has welcomed hundreds of travellers from across the world — couples on honeymoon, families seeking adventure, solo explorers, and photographers chasing the perfect desert light. What unites them all is the experience of Morocco as it truly is: warm, wild, and unforgettable.
